Jean Church Reynolds passed away on February 28, 2024. Before Jean passed, she entrusted me with access to all her genealogy files and research on her computer. When I asked what she wanted me to do with the information, she put her hands on mine and simply said, “I trust you will know what to do with it.”

This was her way of acknowledging my work on this website and giving me full permission to use her research for the benefit of the Wilkes Genealogical Society. Genealogy and the WGS were her life’s passion. I am honored to help preserve her legacy.

There are many files and a wealth of information to sort through, and as time permits, I will continue adding her genealogy files to this page for members to have access.

Genealogy research is never-ending, with new discoveries always emerging. This is her work, preserved for others to use, explore, and build upon.
