It has been 35 years since The Heritage of Wilkes County, Volume II was published, and now a new generation has the opportunity to preserve the stories and families that shaped the “Original” Wilkes County.
At no cost to you, we are now collecting submissions for Volume III — and we want your stories. Whether your family has been here for two centuries or two decades, your story is an important part of our community’s history and a lasting gift for future generations.
